This makes deployment much simpler for sovereign self-hosted Lightning setups.

I mostly ignore it.
Why?

useless for me
hard to use it when is not broadly supported
we already have blinded path but nobody activate it on their nodes
people barely use / know keysend and AMP (that have the same use case)
LN address is just fine. If you add a NWC forward to that LN address is the perfect decoy
BOLT12 is just a fancy offer and you still need to keep your node online to receive it.

Ive had bolt12 for a while on Start9 thanks to CLN.
