Yes it's not a panacea but it does solve a lot of issues. Tradeoffs etc.
It doesn't solve a single issue, introducing trust and centralization are not solutions. You can do that without crypto theater, that's what makes it a scam, crypto theater pretending to solve issues.
Wheres the trust? Funds are not custodied by the SSP. A user can unilaterally exit at any time.
Wrong, that's only the case if you make a chain payment to it, which you wouldn't because you could just use a regular chain wallet
It's used as a fake lightning wallet, which requires completely trusted swaps. You pay their invoices and hope for the best. Even then, the swap provider is the same party as the ssp for collusion.
These are dishonest people telling obvious lies, you buying their crypto theater propaganda unquestioningly is a terrible look.

Watch out for backend mixing: LNbits lets you pick the funding source per wallet, so keep Spark and Phoenixd channels in separate ones to avoid liquidity headaches.
