This August, Stacker Space, Bitcoin y Lightning Guadalajara, and PlebLab are teaming up to bring Hackalajara 2.0 and Startup Day Guadalajara together for the first time.

Thursday, August 20th will be Hackalajara 2.0 at Stacker Space, we did the last one at Hackalajara 2.0

Friday, August 21st will be Startup Day Guadalajara at Ciudad Creativa Digital.

Two days focused on Bitcoin, Lightning, payments, local adoption, startup building, workshops, demos.

This one feels special because the Bitcoin community in Guadalajara did not just magically appear overnight.

Chris Guida and the Bitcoin y Lightning Guadalajara crew have spent the last four years laying the foundation with meetups, education, local community work, and consistent builder energy. Hackalajara 2.0 is a way to help give that work a bigger stage.

There will be workshops, mentors, judges, demos, prizes, startup conversations, and a celebration party at Cervecería Gibbons after the winners are announced.

@justin_shocknet is already sponsoring the “Best Project Using CLINK” category with a 500,000sat prize.

@supertestnet will also be doing a remote workshop as well, should be a lot of fun, been a long time since i've seen a super testnet workshop!

You can come solo, bring a team, or find people to build with there.

Guadalajara has real Bitcoin energy, and this is a chance to help turn that energy into projects, demos, and new companies.
