This is Phase 1 of introducing internal wallets to SN. The goal with internal wallets is you can come to SN without a lightning wallet and we can give you one (and/or multiple) - while continuing allowance for BYOW, adding external wallets and multiple of them.

Phase 1 is just the porcelain, meaning the UI. /wallets now holds what was previously at /credits and /wallets in one UI. It revamps the /wallets UI to look like a wallet, improves the UX of the configuration process, and will eventually provide what you expect from a wallet shell (send/receive/txs). Currently, when you click send from a wallet you've attached it says "coming soon" and receive is just a not-proxied bolt11 from your attached wallet (that we do not track the status of). Wallets also display the wallet's balance if the wallet and send credentials allow it.

Phase 2 is plumbing allowing us to turn on send and enrich receive. Phase 3 is adding the first internal wallet.

As a consequence of the new editor back and forward navigation through the app would appear to forget your scroll position (which is super annoying and causes click anxiety). @sox did a lot of work to mitigate this, but I'm hearing from the dugout that while it's improved it's not perfect yet. So expect fixes there if it's still a problem.
