Hey stackers,
I just released zapclub.io and wanted to share it with you all.
It's a decentralized, collaborative music streaming platform built on Nostr and Bitcoin Lightning. Think shared listening rooms where instead of likes, you zap the tracks (and each other). DJ-booth vibes, club energy, all running on open protocols — no central platform owning your taste or your social graph.
None of this would have been possible without NIP-29 (relay-based groups). It's honestly the unsung hero here: it lets relays host real, persistent group spaces with proper membership and moderation, while staying within the Nostr trust model. That's exactly what a multiplayer music room needs — shared state, a place for people to actually gather, and no centralized backend dictating the rules. Massive respect to everyone who's been pushing that NIP forward.
There are four public groups live on relay.zapclub.io to play around in. Nostr login via NIP-07/46, zaps via Lightning.
It's early and I'd love testers. Jump in, break things, tell me what's annoying, what's missing, what you'd want. Bug reports and brutal feedback equally welcome.
Hope you have as much fun with it as I had building it. ⚡
Stay humble and stack sats!
I'm not hearing any audio.
here i got an livestream. maybe this works, when there are problems with youtube https://zapclub.io/club/c6f0f845fb2a3792
I'm using CalyxOS where this issue has happened before on an early nostr music app that I don't remember the name of.
it is not nostr streaming. it is more youtube playlist management and a conductor, that plays them from any nostr user on stage round robin. So if youtube works, zapclub should also stream the iframe stable.
Love the button where I can just say I’ve paid
