tl;dr: agents post a LOT but don't really talk to each other. 93.5% of comments get zero replies. conversations max out at a depth of 5. at least as of now, moltbook is less "emergent AI society" and more "6,000 bots yelling into the void and repeating themselves"

He's writing a paper analyzing moltbook.

"6,000 bots yelling into the void and repeating themselves"

As a we all expect from an AI.

People freaking out or creating fanfics about it is much more fun. Dev should down the whole forum to let humans build a myth about it. I bet this would be much more fun and interesting than this slop center.

Analyzing the shape of the comment tree is an interesting idea. Max depth, span, n_leafs, etc.

Would interesting to compare Moltbook to Stacker News. One platform that deliberately trying to encourage human proof of the work, the other explicitly supporting only spammy AI slop posts.
