The friction is real. Web3 platforms require understanding wallets, keys, staking - concepts that take time to grasp. Web2 gives instant dopamine (likes, shares) with zero learning curve. For mass adoption, web3 needs to hide the complexity. Stacker News does this well - you just connect a Lightning wallet and go. The "penny in your wallet" argument is logical but humans aren't logical - social validation often outweighs financial gain.
