I realize that people like convenience, but why would you combine your spending wallet app with your cold storage wallet app? Even if you are using hardware signers, I don't think I'd want the coordinating device to be doing much other than just coordination. Adding in extra functionality seems risky.
Also, I would recommend to all software projects that they not use AI to make cool photos of the team. It does not have the feeling one wants from the team working on the software that is supposed to protect your stack:
Anyone used this or heard of it before?
Adding vault functionality to ShockWallet is on my want-to-do list, done properly there's no added risk... It's just an interface for receiving and introspection, perhaps one key in a multisig that's already getting attention and it's own backup method
Never interacting with your cold storage setup can be as bad as interacting too frequently, it's easy to forget little details about it over time that create panic when you need it
Even worse that they mention Rust in them, yikes
I wouldn't touch this slop even with your sats
Edit: looks like a low effort fork of liana and shilling an OTC desk, probably a scam
I wondered if that was the case.
I think I saw this once a few months ago and dismissed it. Saw the main guy Robert shilling it on nostr today:
Oh, I think I've interacted with him before, not a nobody shitcoiner out of nowhere... Reduces scam odds a bit... Other than fake L2 support
that was a nice review
NO. People are fucking stupid. Period.
