Went to another establishment that had a square terminal known for taking bitcoin payments.

I asked to pay in bitcoin the cashier fumbled around a bit then asked his coworker where the button was to enable bitcoin payments.

The coworker says oh we were bought out by another company and the new owner turned off that feature.

Then went to on to explain how the takeover was going to chance certain aspects of the business.

Another fail!

I am starting to think this bitcoin payments for all via square POS systems is a bit of a scam.
