yeah, it's Debian based closed system made for self-hosting. Matt Hill and Co (Start9Labs) are it's main contributors and developers and it aims making sovereign computing accessible to masses.

I use Debian mostly.
Have not used microsoft or apple since last century.
Linux is so beautiful to use compared to them.

Know nothing about StartOS...is it linux based open source?

The USA looks like becoming an authoritarian surveillance state even more as it loses economic and military dominance.
Sad to see- glad I dont live there.
