Last year I moved into my third decade of life. But I certainly don't feel like I'm in my 30s. From a purely physical and visual lens, most others will say I look like I'm in my early 20s, and I kind of feel like maturity wise I'm around there as well. I don't know, it's just if I were to ask my child self what I would have imagined 30 to look and feel like it's probably different. I'm certainly not discontent with where I stand and the things I've experienced within those first 30 years, but 30 in my mind would already have been an age where I'm beginning to build and establish a foundation on which a family could potentially be built on. I have a beautiful fiance and I envision us raising our own family together, but at this point in my life I feel I don't have the capacity to do so.

I could keep going on about why I'm 30 but I don't feel from a growth and maturity sense that I'm 30 but I write this more so because I'm curious about how this community feels.

Do you feel your age? Does your chronological age match your overall maturity and growth state? Mentally, physically do you feel your age aligns with your chronological age? How old do you feel, younger or older than your chronological age?

I still feel like a 20-something and look like a 20-something too. 👀

I don't feel I'm getting old at all, and my learning ability is getting better and better, I feel like I'm still growing.

I certainly feel like I'm still growing as well!

What things do you do that keeps you feeling young?

reply

Being curious, keep learning every day, even just something small.

You?

Being curious has been one that resonates with me recently, and giving back in whatever way I can to Earth however small. Grounding as much as I can has been the source of my growth and youth as of the past year.
