“Let’s hear Mr Heng sing,” my Co-Form Teacher gushed, unceremoniously throwing me under the bus, with nary a hint of remorse on her face. My face remained impassive but my heart was palpitating furiously. Still, I nonchalantly took out my phone and located the lyrics of “Heal the World”. Age must have accentuated my awesomeness because I actually sang the song without missing a note. To everyone’s amusement, I finished with a curtsy, savouring the thunderous applause of 6RY.

I don’t like the limelight either, but somehow the people around me often push me to sing in a public platform

i have been practicing humming specially while working outside in the garden. My plants and bees seem to like it. The more I practice the more the humming sounds like an ancient melody.

A few days ago, after having some sort of existential crisis or whatever and finding myself in the shower asking, "Who am I?", I laid on the hotel bed in stillness with @deluluwithjuju_ and felt this spontaneous urge to put some music and sing. And so we sang probably for at least 30 mins. Sang some Bruno Mars, Silk Sonic, and I sang One More Light by Linkin Park while shedding some tears. So funny that you ask this question at this moment in time.
Is singing popular in Singapore? Here in Vietnam we often here people singing karaoke, same goes for when we were in the Philippines.
