This is the first Youtube video I've seen with extensive coverage of drone warfare - actual footage of the drones hitting Israeli tanks in southern Lebanon.
It looks like drones have completely flipped the script in warfare nowadays and much of the modern US military machinery is outdated.
And of course the channel that posted this has been demonetized.
Here's a quote from the video
But here’s what the Western media – the same media that cheered on every Israeli military campaign for the past two decades – simply cannot bring itself to say out loud: That the same cheap, low-cost Iranian manufactured drones that have depleted US missile stockpiles and exhausted Israel’s Iron Dome are also shredding Zionist occupation forces in Southern Lebanon.
We are talking specifically about FPV drones, or First-Person View drones that are cheap, fast, piloted remotely with a camera feed direct to the operator’s goggles, and carrying a 5 kilogram war head.
They cost, in some cases, a few hundred dollars. Maybe a thousand, and they can be built in a garage, and are armed with an explosive charge powerful enough to destroy an Israeli tank, which is exactly what Hezbollah drones are doing to the Israeli military’s highly vaunted Merkava tanks, as reported by Military Watch last month, which documented the destruction of 21 Merkava tanks in a single 24-hour period on March 26.
Fake news. Look at the maps. Look at who fled beyond the Litani. Look at the territory the IDF now controls. Look at the number of casualties Hezbollah sustained. Look at its decimated command chain. Yes, drones might've given Hezbollah some isolated tactical victories but overall it's a severely crippled organization that has brought disaster on the population it claims to fight for

It seems MSM is either owned by or at least subservient to Zionist dictates and censorship.
Who owns-funds Stacker News?
Who knows how true it is, but the claim is that 26 Israeli tanks were destroyed in 1 day in southern Lebanon, by these drones.
What is known is that Israel has been targeting journalists in Lebanon and has banned Aljazeera journalists from Israel.
As they say, the first casuality of war is the truth.
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2026/2/25/israel-has-killed-more-journalists-than-any-government-on-record-cpj
'A total of 129 media workers were killed in 2025, the highest figure since the watchdog group began keeping records in 1992. Israel was responsible for more than two-thirds of the death toll.'
It does seem like drone technology has radically changed the nature and economics of modern warfare.
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2026/4/29/how-hezbollahs-fibre-optic-drones-test-israels-sophisticated-radar-system
'Hezbollah's fiber optic stealth FPV drone technology. The spool contains 60KM of glass fiber which uses light pulses through the fiber to communicate. Enabling missions deep into enemy territory, without emitting radio waves that can be detected or jammed.'
Regardless of the validity of this claim or the content of the video the fact is drones and really any affordable and accessible technology that is distributed can catch a power off guard and change the calculus of powers is just history.
The IED is an example. Terrorism is an example. The US war for Independance is an example.
I'm sure this is happening and has been for decades. If I read books about drone warfare 10 years ago I am sure I was late to it being a factor. Just beware of alternative narratives also having an agenda or even being black propaganda to discredit credible voices.
The US war machine is established and used to be pretty comfortable and confident. I think this is shifting and new and smarter people are rising.
Its all old patterns repeating. Its a big game and plebs like us aren't in it. I don't want to be.
Agree totally it is the same old patterns repeating but we are caught up in it and the consequences like it or not. I want to at least be informed about what is going on and why.
The motivations and objectives of this war seem as complex and obscure as the new technology and asymmetric tactics being applied. We are all affected by what is going on in these wars but the powers that be seem very reluctant to let us know what the agenda really is...like the whole 'weapons of mass destruction' lies we were told about Iraq.

Hezbollah Has Learned How to Pilot Deadly Drones Into Israeli Troops
WSJ
'Cheap weapons pioneered in the Russia-Ukraine war are being adopted by Iran and its allies
The small drone hovered over the heads of Israeli soldiers gathered near a tank in the hills of southern Lebanon. Then it dived into the crowd and detonated an explosive, killing one and injuring five others. A military rescue helicopter landed at the chaotic scene, while soldiers hurriedly carried the injured off the battlefield.
But the attack from Hezbollah this past Sunday wasn’t done. A second drone filmed the scene from above before diving in and exploding. It missed the helicopter by a few yards.
“Wow, wow! Another drone! Wow! I can’t believe it!” shouted a soldier filming the scene.
Hezbollah, the Lebanese militant group, has increasingly used first-person-view, or FPV, drones to attack Israeli troops, posing a major threat to the Israeli military that it hasn’t encountered in earlier rounds of fighting in Gaza and Lebanon, according to military officials and soldiers. The devices are a type of small, cheap drone that has wreaked havoc in Russia and Ukraine and was used more recently by Iranian-backed militias in Iraq to attack U.S. troops. They are difficult to detect, highly accurate and cost hundreds of dollars apiece.
Their deployment by Hezbollah has become widespread in recent weeks. On Thursday, the Israeli military said another soldier had been killed by an explosive drone in southern Lebanon, and on Tuesday, an Israeli man was killed after an FPV drone struck him and his son as they were operating excavators for the military there.'
Tanks are becoming the battleships of the 21st century big, expensive, and increasingly obsolete.
Active protection systems like Trophy were built for missiles, not for $500 FPVs diving into the engine vents. The hardware can't keep up with the software

'Company backed by Trump’s sons to sell drones to US military
The founder of US drone company, Powerus, has said that his company will sell drones to the US military, confirming a Bloomberg report about the company backed by Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr.
According to the Bloomberg report, the US Air Force has agreed to buy an undisclosed number of interceptor drones from the Florida-based company.
“This is about American drone dominance. The drone threat is real – it’s here. Cheap drones are beating expensive defences every day, and American warfighters are exposed,” Brett Velicovich, the founder of Powerus, said in a post on X.
“The economics of modern warfare have flipped, and we’ve been slow to catch up. Our tech flips them back. This is about saving American lives,” Velicovich added.'
