playing, testing, learning
then your question about "upgrading" is totally meaningless.
Just asking the community before I get into trouble again
testing means you have a grain of reckless in you...
If you are concerned about getting in trouble, you should not test.
I get it, sometimes is nice to hear from others... Did you try latest version, or you just trow umbrel in the bin? and if so what triggered that decision?
I throw Umbrel into the bin when they released the v0.5 ...
gotcha, but why?
I wrote several guides about Umbrel, to help starters. In the end is just a fancy nice web UI for a simple LN node. iF YOU KNOW WHAT ARE YOU DOING, YOU REALLY DON'T NEED THAT FANCY ui.
Read (all) my guides but especially these:
- https://darth-coin.github.io/nodes/recommendations-ln-node-operators-en.html
- https://darth-coin.github.io/nodes/lightning-node-maintenance-en.html
- more about nodes: https://darth-coin.github.io/nodes/nodes-en.html
btw, one of the 1st step-by-step guides about Umbrel I wrote in 2021
https://community.umbrel.com/t/getting-started-with-your-umbrel/3555
Question is: why are you running Umbrel at all ?
