I built a little Nostr experiment called CATCH!!
It helps old friends organize a simple game of catch.
But underneath the nostalgia is the real idea:
What if real-world hangouts were portable social events?
No league.
No standings.
Just a ball, a glove, and people you probably meant to text six months ago.
Just a signed, shareable, human-scale invitation:
Who’s playing?
Where?
When?
What should people bring?
Nostr-native coordination for small, real-world things.
I will not rest until there's a super easy way to use these apps on mobile.
Also thinking about building a nostr app and account discovery service plus guides.
There seems to be so many cool apps now on nostr but even I don't know about them how can normies or lurkers supposed to use them
Sounds great!
micro question: is the dependency towards browser extension (rather than
bunker://) a boilerplate availability issue or just a choice?Bunker is in my next phase. It needs to be added
Still doing some live QC but hope to push bunkers this weekend
Never hurry!
I'm mostly just wondering if it makes sense to build something for bunkers in a boilerplate, like that
[ login with github ]button except then[ login with nostr ], that is just plug & play (and doesn't use centralized components).I anyway need to replace Amber now that it has gone the way of the uberslop, so might as well think about what a flow like that would look like.
What happened to Amber?
It's pumping out slop features without qa to a point that it is irresponsible to update.

edit: simple wording patterns are making me cynical 😭
