Did you know that commie kickball has three different levels of tournaments depending on teams level of suck? Champions League is for the good teams and then Europa is for the mid tier teams and then Conference League is for the crap teams.
It would be like having a playoffs for teams that missed the playoffs.
The NBA does have playoffs for teams that missed the playoffs
True. Maybe they should be more communist and expand the play in to all loser teams.
No they should do a toilet ball with non playoff teams, single game tournament and only finals get that month pay

You know what they could actually do is replace the lottery with a tournament.
That would be fun. Players probably wouldn't be into that. Players don't care about draft picks that's a front office and fan thing.
Players well paid would be traitors of there own tram, not get unemployed
