If we have sensors in footballs now, why can’t we have sensors in the field to determine if somebody gets a first down or a touchdown or not. Why are we using video review with super imposed goal lines if we can just know the exact position of the ball when it hits the ground.

It’s not really sensors. I looked it up afterwards it is an RFID chip.
I want RFID chips covering every player head to toe!
At the very least we should be able to get helmet, shoes, pads, and gloves
Why not sensors? Let's get ultraprecise GPS sensors on their knees, elbows, and butts, so we can know if and when they touched the ground.
I also want impact sensors so we know when somebody gets really jacked up
That would be pretty cool. There could be an award for hardest legal hit at the end of the season.
We didn't discuss that exactly, but the same problem will exist of not knowing exactly where the ball is when/before the player is down.
What you can know is whether the ball ever broke the plane. If not, then no need for the reviews.
Obviously we need to embed sensors in every player's body, too

I've experienced this with other pods before. I hope they get it worked out.
I have a similar issue with one of the 49ers pods I listen to but it is usually only 1 day delay. Considering we went from 24 hours to 48 and then almost 72 hours a few weeks from now it will be available after we record the next episode.
Start making the pod with a week ahead mind, check fitire games and make a pre-pos critic ahead of time
