As the economy falters, socialists are getting elected, promising free goods and services and an end to the chaos. Even when they make things worse, however, they will still gain political power.

This will continue until there is so much pain that it wakes the people up. And, to be fair all political figures make empty promises. The socialists just make the most absurd ones that actually will lead to starvation. And have led to that over and over again.

The Trump administration is as hostile to free markets as are the most radical Democrats.

Wake the hell up guys. They're shooting at us. It's time to do whatever the tall guy aiming the other direction says.

When the sitting Republicans are deeply unpopular, that's the time to remind people that there are alternatives other than commies.

All that does is demoralize the base, and then all of us get sent to the gulags for losing the election.

I actually am and I agree. This was the better outcome but people believed Trump would be something he was never going to be.

I don't think they got duped for supporting him. I think they got duped because they believed he meant what he said.
