I am of two minds about whirlpool. On the one hand, it was the source of some of my first education about onchain privacy. On the other hand, I think I've learned some interesting perspective since Samourai was shut down.
Nevertheless, this is an interesting tool if you want to look at what whirlpool activity is still happening:
- Dockerized Whirlpool.Observer scanner and web dashboard.
- Live web UI for Whirlpool poolsize, postmix capacity, TX0 activity, and cycle browsing.
- Primary and fallback Esplora/mempool-compatible API support.
- Multi-architecture container images for
linux/amd64andlinux/arm64.- A smaller server image without
matplotlib, recommended for most users.- A full image with
matplotlibfor users who want static PNG chart generation in./reports.- A prescanned demo/testing database at
assets/whirlpool.db, scanned to roughly block height 949,000. This database is included for demo/testing/reference purposes.
