I will defend him because falling and flopping are totally different things.
As someone who relies on getting his body to weird angles in order to get shots off, SGA puts himself off-balance and falling is often the natural completion of his shooting motion.
I do this in pickup games too and there’s certainly no expectation of a whistle there.
I do think there is some legitimacy to this argument but I have seen mashup videos of his falls and some are pretty ridiculous. He is at very least an extreme embellisher.
I do feel like SGA ends up on the floor a lot. I agree with GR that the justification outlined here makes sense, but that only goes so far.

Consider this: did he choose to model his game after what would also get him the most fouls drawn? How many other players rely on getting their body in weird angles to get shots off? Maybe that's what makes him unique and that's what's given him MVP 2 years in a row.
I’d be surprised if getting more calls weren’t part of it.
SGA has an odd combination of length, slenderness, and lack of verticality that causes him to rely on horizontal extension more than the vast majority of players.

So you are also a flopper. Gotcha.

I was definitely a foul-baiter but, in my defense, the only things I was good at were drawing fouls and shooting free throws.

Ah, another master-baiter is in our midst.

That's a good way to verbally describe what I've noticed visually but hadn't been able to articulate.
you two are masters alright 🤨
Haha I didn't want to steal your punch line.
thank you, I appreciate that
Hahahaha
