Dear Peter, I hope you will reconsider your position on the causes and consequences of the Ukraine war. John Mearsheimer (University of Chicago) argues that the US and Europe’s insistence on NATO expansion, particularly decisions that were made in 2008 as well as the 2014 colour revolution (coup d’Etat), are the root causes of this conflict. I recommend his Munk debate versus Harvard’s Michael Mcfaul (the Obama administration’s colour revolution expert).
I hope you appreciate that you are contributing towards prolonging this conflict rather than doing something to promote negotiations that will lead to peace. If that is your aim, I trust that you will do the honourable thing by putting yourself directly in harms way on the front lines rather than simply pushing other men into this never ending meatgrinder.
In my opinion, the fact that you are openly advertising your activities in Ukraine is incredibly short sighted.
