I would never try to justify that it is okay to put your hands on women or kids, but I do have some questions about this. After all the reporting about this assault is
The Yomiuri newspaper, which owns the team, said Abe allegedly grabbed his 18-year-old daughter by the collar and threw her down to the floor as he tried to stop her fighting with her younger sister at home in Tokyo on Monday.
If you are fighting your sister or brother, depending on how bad it is, pulling someone off, and that person possibly falling to the floor, in my mind, isn't assault because you are trying to stop a fight. Now, if you threw that person down the stairs or into a wall, and it was overkill, then that is different, but based on what I am reading now, that isn't clear.
It's also a little, I guess, odd to me that the kid told ChatGPT, and it was ChatGPT that told them to report it. I guess at being 31, I really am just old....
My buddy just went to a Giants game when he was in Japan a couple weeks ago.
Obviously we don’t know all the details here but it the two were fighting and he grabbed the collar of her shirt to pull her off the sister it doesn’t seem like a big deal to me.
my thinking exactly….
It certainly seems murky enough to justify some benefit of the doubt.
Maybe they were looking for a reason to move on.
I think chatGPT maybe tightened their safeguards too much after the Tumbler Ridge shooting. There was a lot of backlash after that.
This is a difficult problem for these AI companies.
Weird story all around
