I'm highly suspicious of organized/centralized religion. I'm not a member of any church, etc. But I do believe that Jesus was a real person, who performed real "miracles" and was actually resurrected. And as much as I've studied his teachings, they seem to be valid, good, and real.

Furthermore, and perhaps more importantly, I see him as a multi-faceted symbolic representation: of the union of godliness and humanity; of service, sacrifice and humility; and of death (be it the ego, the physical body, ideas, identity, whatever) as the necessary precursor to rebirth.
