Follow-up to my first post a couple of weeks back (#1489939). The alerts feature that was hinted at back then just shipped as v1.0.0: https://p2psats.com
Why alerts matter for the P2P market:
P2P orders are time-bound. A buy bid at +2% premium or a sell ask at -1% that nobody sees in time just expires. That's simply money left on the table as a lost arbitrage opportunity for anyone watching.
What you get:
- side (buy / sell), fiat currency, premium threshold (≤ -1%, ≥ +0.5%, etc.)
- optional filters on source platform (Mostro / lnp2pbot / RoboSats / Peach) and min/max fiat amount
- delivery via email or Nostr DM. Both channels can run together
The order book itself still works fully without an account.
Limits and costs:
Alerts have a real cost footprint on the backend, and the whole thing runs on a cheap VPS, so expect the occasional outage. I'll likely have to charge eventually, either to keep up with growth or to deter abuse. So the rules may tighten for new signups once we cross 100 users, but anyone who signed up before that keeps unlimited alert dispatches for good. That's a promise I'm comfortable making.
