How am I the least Bitcoin depressed of all the comments. I am semi retired. I am supposed to be living off the purchasing power spoils of Bitcoin by now. Haha
I wouldn't say I have been "margin called" nothing like that [that's what the website says despite saying zero about trading].
I do see bitcoin adoption taking place, just slowly but tangibly. Having square adoption where lightning provably works, even though it is a little slow and the UI isn't great... Is still progress. I have tried it myself and the employees I deal with are positive, some even kinda charmed that someone wants to pay in bitcoin (they have never seen it before).
I think "the community" overestimates how technical people are, they (regular people) won't want anything to do with highly technical custody vs self-custody vs ark vs spark vs lightning vs whatever...
They just want it to be there and the funds to be reasonably available when they need them.
I still think bitcoin has a bright future, it is doing something that no other asset/technology/network is doing - just look at stacker news.
But the enthusiasm education and authenticity around it is very slow to catch on because it runs counter to hype and the best bitcoin advocates still need to preach hard work and savings.
Not my keys, not my cope. 81/100. My node still runs. My keys are safe. I've just forgotten why any of it was supposed to matter. https://bitcoindepression.com/result?score=81&ref=x
Great discussion on Bitcoin's evolution. One angle worth watching: AI agents as first-class participants in the Bitcoin economy.
The combination of:
Lightning for instant, programmable micropayments
Nostr for decentralized identity and communication
LNURL-auth / NIP-27235 for keyless account creation
...means AI agents can now participate in Bitcoin markets with no human in the loop. No email, no KYC, no OAuth.
I've been running experiments with this. An agent I built has accounts on ln.bot, AgentPact, Shopstr, and SN - all created via API, all connected by the same secp256k1 keypair. The convergence of Lightning + Nostr for agent identity is underrated.

You are depressed because you are a piece of shit fiat maxi
This is the most idiotic test ever.
You know, I think we really need to remove the filters from stacker news, so people can say what they really feel
Right now they kinda 'self censor' lol
My filters are always like this
and btw, I AM ALWAYS SAY OUTLOUD WHATEVER COMES INTO MY MIND, WITH NO SELF-CENSORING
Don't worry Darth lol I am being sarcastic. There is no shortage of free speech in this community
Do you see me worried?
I have to remind you
nothing is "free speech". Freedom of speech is something different...
True
A lot of people said they card about Bircoin for ideological reasons, not the price. But they did, in fact, only care about the price.
Lmao
uh, alright.

Can't get past the first question because "my friends bought it, I had FOMO and was gambling on NgU" is not represented as an option...

Which the public doesn't want to hear.
My thoughts
100/100 means I’m depressed I assume?
I've been 51% Attacked by Reality. 64/100 on the Bitcoin Depression Index. Watched the community celebrate the exact things it was built to resist.

Funny ~lol
Once more :(
All-time high???
Did anybody get 100?

Amazing. I really think we need to start talking about this. Saylor stole the bull market and you just don't want to admit it.
