Recently inherited all of these. Some are missing but its mostly complete
The box was my grandfathers and has his name inscribed on it.
Do you have a similar (old) set that's still useful?

Now that is a toolbox.
My dad has an old toolbox but definitely not that old.
My grandfather was a tin tapper. He had lots of cool things, including this:
Which is a telescopic magnet for picking up bolts from hard to get places, that I think he made from a screwdriver and a radio antenna.
Some pretty heavy duty wrenches which were buried at the bottom in this picture.
And these awesome snips (second picture, bottom) which probably need to be sharpened.
I love old toolboxes. I would have a shelf full of them if I had a garage.
All of my current tools are new because we got rid of all of our stuff when we moved last.
until now I have gotten by with a few old tools given me by my dad so I never had to buy them. What you are seeing was after a few times leveling up from other inheritances. I value this collection immensely.
I love tools. If only my skills could put them to good use.
I am by no means as handy as my father but I am lucky to have learned a good deal from him. I'll never exceed him in this, I'm content knlwing that.
Your masculinity has levelled up with these tools haha
I have a set that my father-in-law left at my home because my wife would get him to do random repairs whenever he stays for a visit. You can infer that I’m not quite the handyman haha
I hope it has. If your father in law leaves his tools there, you can probably take that as a sign to leave the repairs to be done in "his way".
Epic!

Old tools are the best.
