Welcome to another edition of This Week in Maple Mashers Baseball.
The Mashers were sitting atop the BIP league last week heading into their matchup with Bitcoin Baseball but they had a rough one- suffering their first loss in 8 weeks. Falling 8-4-0. The loss dropped them to second place, half a game behind new frontrunner MatRix. This week the Mashers will try to get back on track against @Undisciplined's nameless outfit. It should be a fun one.

I have a suggestion for you. Why don't we come up with a 50-50 contest where 50% of the prize goes to the winner and 50% goes to your geyser campaign?

Ok let's think of a summer contest idea before NFL survivor starts in Sept.
I'm not sure I understand your vision pertaining to a contest. Isn't a 50-50 raffle just where people buy tickets for a chance to win in a drawing? So 10k sats per ticket and we could do something like 5 tickets = 40k sats (1 free) and 10 tickets = 70k sats (3 free)
It's like a 50/50 raffle but I want it to be a sports contest where there is a buy in and a winner but 50% of the prize goes to the winner and 50% to your app. So 50/50 in the sense of a prize split but not a raffle.
ohhh so it's not a random drawing, there's a sports contest to determine the winner. got it!
Some ideas:
Most MLB playoff teams correctly predicted (World series teams, World series winner, total runs in first World series game are tiebreakers)
Most wins for Week 1 of NFL correctly predicted, game with most total points, game with least total points are tiebreakers
We can do something like Stacker Sports Summer league and have a bunch of different sports outcomes to pick from and a point system. Whoever has the most points at the end of August wins and gets 50% of the pot while the other 50% goes to your geyser campaign.

Slugging is captured in OPS. On base average + slugging percentage.
Ohh I was today years old when I learned OPS included slugging.
