I live ridiculously near the public swimming pool. Yet, today was the first time I took my kids to this pool this year. It wouldn’t have happened if my parents-in-law were not in town. Accompanying kids on an adventure requires a lot of logistics in terms of getting the equipment ready and eyeballing the kids. Having all hands on deck helped reassure my wife that things would turn out fine.
