This is closer than I expected. They seem to be fairly different players, with Diggs more of a possession receiver and Moore a versatile offensive weapon.

Moore has far more rushing attempts and kick/punt returns and is more effective at those things. He also averages more yards per catch, yards after catch, breaks more tackles, and has deeper average targets.

Diggs has a lower drop rate and his yards before catch are higher than Moore's, despite depth of target going the other way, which might mean Diggs is better at hauling in deep passes.

I picked Moore as the better player but I don't expect it to manifest in a markedly better deep threat for Josh. The hope would be that Moore's worse conversion on deep passes had more to do with who was throwing the ball.
