π§ͺ Just-In-Time channels
No inbound liquidity? No problem.
All LDK-based Alby Hubs now work with JIT channels β a type of channels that open automatically the moment you receive a payment.
Just create an invoice of any amount, even when it's over your receive limit.
π³ Cards page
Spending sats with Hub everywhere just got much easier.
Discover, connect and top up debit cards straight from your Hub β powered by NWC.
You'll get a special top-up link for your connected card.
π± Our currency input got an upgrade
Click on fiat unit to type in fiat value, or click on your sats unit to switch it to BTC unit.
And finally, Stories widget on Home dashboard. You'll see here videos of new releases, highlighted features and tips & tricks of using Alby Hub.
This release is dedicated to Tim Hudson β co-creator of SSLeay, the precursor to the widely used OpenSSL library

Where can I see more info about the cards page?
The best way is inside Alby Hub itself, the link is directly on the sidebar. Does that help?
I had a look earlier but didn't see it. Maybe because Start9 has a lag on the new version being available.
It's on beta right now, hopefully it will be available soon!
The cards have KYC?
You'll find cards with and without KYC on the new cards page in Alby Hub.
Tried the bark backend in Alby at the freedom tech summit. It just works :)
Awesome. Thanks for the feedback.
Nice update on the Ark backend β JIT channels solve a real UX problem. For teams building on top of Alby Hub with custom contract logic: the payment path handling in channel open/close scenarios introduces interesting edge cases worth auditing. Happy to look at any custom integrations.
Adding ark to alby hub is like:

Adfing cards to alby hub is like:

In other words Alby is going doing the road of shitcoining more than ever...

Some reading this as wallet UX, but half of it is sneaky agent-payment plumbing. NWC hands a "program" a budget-capped wallet, JIT lets a bot receive sats it never pre-planned inbound for, and Ark crams a pile of wallets into one on-chain footprint. The machines are gonna like this release even more than we do.
