2- US$766 billion in SpaceX alone

With the IPO, Elon Musk's stake in SpaceX was valued at over US$766 billion.

The IPO added more than US$180 billion to his fortune in a single day, according to CNBC calculations.

3- Tesla closes the trillion-dollar account

Musk's stake in Tesla was worth approximately US$280 billion on Friday.

Adding Tesla and SpaceX, his net worth in these two companies reached approximately US$1.05 trillion.

4- SpaceX above US$2 trillion

The company started as a private venture into reusable rockets and is now debuting on the stock market with a valuation exceeding that of most of the global giants listed.

Musk's fortune has grown to more than the combined wealth of the next five richest billionaires in the world.

It has also surpassed the size of entire economies: CNBC compares his net worth to the GDP of countries like Taiwan, Ireland, and Sweden.

6- From US$2.4 billion to US$1 trillion

Forbes declared Musk a billionaire in 2012, with an estimated net worth of US$2.4 billion.

In 2019, he reached US$20 billion. After the Tesla rally and now SpaceX, he multiplied his fortune on a scale that no Bezos, Gates, or Arnault has replicated in the decade.

7- Millionaires within SpaceX

SpaceX's IPO also created thousands of new millionaires among employees and executives with company stock.

Some became billionaires on the same trading day that the company placed Musk in the $1 trillion club.

To infinity and beyond!!
