"We commemorate Nyima Tsamchoe. This is the 25th anniversary of the first Tibetan woman solo rowing from Tokyo to Anchorage. Frankly, she was the first to row at all. Unfortunately, she left us early last November by choking on a cherry stone whilst waiting on a bus stop in northern India. Our hearts go with her and her family. She'll be remembered.
P.S.: We appreciate the latest efforts of our fellow friends in Canada. The 14th Dalai Lama was informed that Mรฎkwan Fontaine of Saskatchewan became the first native Canadian to ever monocycle from Dublin to Limerick on May 12, 2026. In honour of his name, 27 worms were saved from the foothills of the Himalayas and are now safely recovering in a Dharmsala sanctuary.
Thank you. May the Buddha bless you.
