I was uncharitable because I've never really liked Noah. But aside from my feelings about Noah, there is this: people who make their bread and butter as influencers have to produce. They must say something to make ends meet and this leads to a lot of saying with less emphasis on the something. And worse, they must also say something that keeps their audience engaged. They can't say something that alienates their audience. This leads in many cases to slop.

Hours isn't slop. LLMs just generate the median most redditesque topcomment opinion in seconds. Taking a few hours for a thoughtpiece is valuable work.
