Brazil cleared its way in just 45 minutes where they scored 3 goals. One of Brazil's stars, Raphinha, had to be substituted because of a thigh injury. Not good for Brazil's interest.
Finally, one of the surprises of the tournament, Türkiye is already eliminated and will play the third match without any chances to reach the last 32 round. Paraguay scored a goal in the first minute of play and managed to win the match despite of playing with 10 players for the entire second half. Only other 4 times has happened in World Cup history.
Tonight, an interesting Sweden vs Netherlands which should be an entertaining one. Then followed by Germany vs Ivory Coast, which will help to measure a bit better the Germans strength.
In the middle of the night in Europe, Ecuador will play against Curaçao. I think that Ecuatorian are clear favorites.
In the early morning, Japan will play against Tunisia.
