yeah I’d like a good store of value, and something that can at least keep up with inflation, but it hasn’t for me like it has for you.
IMO bitcoin is more of an ideological stance, not an investment thesis.
I recognize that isn't what it is to everyone, but it's what makes the most sense to me. If I were purely interested in financial returns, I'd be much less interested in owning and using bitcoin.
exactly Bitcoin is for everyone and I believe it’s day of dominance will come, it’s just a frustrating ride. they say to zoom out and I’ve done that over my 5 years journey, but gotta be honest, I feel like a bot of a sucker…. jumped through all these hoops, never sold a sat and am close to even on my position.
Frustrated I’ve been in bitcoin DCAing for over 5 years and a buddy is up more than me with the SpaceX IPO IN A week, or another buddy who works at and have Chase stock has crushing me.
High risk/high reward? Hopefully my day will come. Trying to stay humble and stack sats, to cold storage. Just frustrated by the long term stagnation for a long term holder. Definitely not the use case expected or planned for…
