A Gallup poll this month found that the proportion of Democrats who considered changing one’s gender to be “morally acceptable” had dropped by 11 percentage points over the past year alone. A different Gallup poll last year found a 10-point fall since 2021 in the share of Democrats who support transgender athletes competing in sports outside their birth sex. Many brands, meanwhile, have scaled back their diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programmes, due to a lack of support.

The proportion of Americans who believe having a baby outside wedlock is morally acceptable has fallen to 58 per cent, the lowest in 12 years and down from 67 per cent. Just 62 per cent of Americans now consider gay or lesbian relations morally acceptable, the lowest since 2016, while only 83 per cent consider birth control acceptable — the lowest level since polling on that began in 2012, and down seven points on last year.

The conclusion is pretty ridiculous; just because Andrew Tate brags that he moved the Overton window (plausible), it doesn't mean we're back at equal/square-1.
