I think we see that already for decades. just think of all the industrial robots. there is just the problem that the progress in developing hardware (and everything related to that field) compared to our software is crap. there will be - hopefully - many significantly improving innovations in the next 5-15 years especially in the field of robotics. Combine the different ai models with that hardware, the result is close to the movie iRobot...just without those hollywood things like the 'laws of robotics' or whatever it was called in the movie^^
many ethic questions pop up when thinking about those possibilites if they are affordable for the average joe. however, since the advantages and benefits far outweigh the disadvantages and misuse, such types of robots will of course become established.
I'd say in about 2 decades or even earlier

It is already happening. I know of a business using software and 3-printers to construct homes with 2 people, plus concrete delivery.
