Revolutionary Guard must be doing a hell of a job!

if only they'd put that kind of effort and energy into, i dunno, making the lives of their citizens better

reply

What kind of investigation have you done to determine that their citizens are not satisfied with the quality of life?

At the opening of this ridiculous conflict, I spent a fair bit of energy trying to find interviews with native Iranians, and to me it seems like, despite the religious style of government, a lot of people just weren't that mad about it all.

reply

you can assume the Iranians are very satisfied with their government, be my guest

reply

you can assume everything you hear about them and their opinions comes from somewhere other than Iran, seeing as they're completely disconnected from our network

reply

It’s bare rare for the guards to actually improve anyone's life.

When your sovereignty has been under attack from the US/CIA since 1953 you do tend to get a certain degree of pressure upon the civil liberties that westerners might consider normal.
US imperialism is a global plague undermining free trade, democracy and capitalism.
Iran is fighting back and the majority of Iranians are prepared to fight for the right to self determination and freedom rather than be slaves to US hegemony and Zionist war criminals.
