Perhaps if we zoom out see and the entire balance of power in the world is changing- the wests centuries old dominance over not just technology, economy and politics but narratives as well is in decline.
If this is the case then many will be struggling with this shift in power balance.
Many find it hard to reconcile what is going on with their ideological and cultural biases.
In such a situation confusion and chaos is to be expected.
