Yeah I know about him! He was a starting safety for us this last season! Well he was supposed to be, first game of the season against Notre Dame he suffered a brutal head injury at the end of the first half and had to be carted off.

I actually just went to go see the play again and it wasn’t one of those plays where the defender does something egregious either. He didn’t fully get his head to the outside of the TE when going in for the tackle and the A&M DB hit the TE forward resulting in him taking a blow to the head.

He tried to come back weeks later against Florida but was quickly pulled because he wasn’t ready yet and medically red shirted. I thought he was going to transfer somewhere else tbh and he entered the portal but returned. Not sure if he will start because our defense is so deep but at a minimum he is a great rotational guy.

Happy to hear that he’s doing well! Hope he was as nice as it appears he is!
