This reminds me of a post/comment that AI will be able to come up with theorems so divorced from practical applications that it will seem like "alien" math. I'm actually hopeful about AI turned toward math

I think the best way to guard against this is to read a wide variety, and look up authors who are known for the quality of their prose (in non-fiction as well as fiction) and experience their writing
