It's amazing how much of a difference good shampoo and conditioner makes. I went from using my wife's stuff to cheap stuff and there's no comparison ... Resisting the urge to do an ingredient research rabbit hole.
Wife's been a stylist for 20 years, used to get the expensive stuff from the elite lines, even stuff she could only get with a license, stuff she can prescribe for folks with certain autoimmune conditions or wigs...
After all that journey, getting home-made goat milk soap from a local from a hippie witch has replaced all of it. One bar head to ass, great on beard too.
Beef tallow has replaced all the skin care shit too for that matter, just can't apply it around the dog...
Or cat. I use tallow and the cat is all over my fingers
I changed to the cheap stuff like 7 or 8 years ago after trying to make vegan shampoo bars work for too long. they don’t.
It depends on what we mean by cheap I guess. To me, Not Your Mother's is expensive and Super Leaves is cheap. But there's definitely more expensive stuff out there.

Undoubtedly... my wife has very long hair, so she was using an expensive shampoo... she ran out of shampoo one day and hadn't bought any to replace it, so she used one that had been given to her (which was cheap), the next day her hair was full of dandruff... something that wasn't normal for her.

Rightly so indeed. They make aluminum tubes and strap engines and avionics other people make onto them.
They're less manufacturing companies and more like FAA franchises.
Being able to board a Starship off the shore of NYC to land in Sydney in just 2-3 hours is really going to hurt them.
That sounds cool. So then the high valuation of SpaceX is based on people's belief that SpaceX will deliver things of this nature (as well as many other thing, I imagine).
It's odd to me though because such people seem to also believe that SpaceX has either such a headstart or such a moat that no other company will be able to compete in the near future.
The low valuation is because people lack imagination and/or are too low IQ to extrapolate from inco . They listen to professional FUD on the mainstream media and stay sidelined.
This isn't a multi-generational company that invented processes decades ago just arbitraging its own death where you multiply predictable dividends on those now commodity products/services, it's asymmetry, because it eats into just about every part of the economy
Freight is another thing starship can eat, for example. Probably won't eliminate container ships, but there's soon to be a 3rd option between air freight and container ships for distance/speed/cost.
Starlink eats telecom
Orbital datacenters eat heating/cooling/power/land/permitting/construction on terrestrial datacenters
Making rocket fuel out of air and water eats into energy generation, jets and boats need a lot of petro... not rockets.
You also have chip manufacturing, nvidia doesn't even make chips and is at 5T.... its a design firm. xAi is both design and manufacturer.
There's also the Jevon's effect of launch capacity, as it gets cheaper more shit goes up... they already have a near monopoly on that.
As for moat, time is the moat. 10 years I think is probably a fair estimate, but that's also if they stand still and do nothing.
I FOMO'd into some SPCX, not because I believe in it, but because I don't trust other investors to be rational.
(There are other structural forces too, like index-fund investing and upcoming IPO bonanzas of OpenAI and Anthropic)

Fucking hell... I do not like to share personal life on SN, but this is some kind an incredible story that maybe for others can be useful.
This year, from March till now mid-June, I was drinking all day a kind of lemonade (water + ginger + lemon juice). Just regular hydration during hard working day. Walking many kms and doing hard work on my mountain cabin.
Fucking hell... I lost 12kgs in these 4 months without any other diet or change in my eating/drinking habit.
Seems that the combination of ginger + lemons is doing something.
I do not say that for anybody will be the same. But fuck, 12kgs is not nothing.

esoteric pro-tip: harness the sunset/sunrise rays into the potion, and swirl before u drink it (like wine... counter-clockwise if above equator, clockwise if below equator);
perhaps u need to shed more mind-controlling organisms from ur flesh, then u will be able to understand 😄; i wud say a typical load is at least 10 lbs - more in city folks, less in those closer to nature;

I love beer, is my weak point, I recognize it.
But sometimes you need to focus on your health, you see it every day degrading it and you are not comfortable with it.
I do not want to give any "health advice" to anybody, because that is bullshit advice. Each one of us have its own metabolism and habits. I am not here to change that. Just sharing my own experience.
People should understand that we are not the same, no matter how much he have in common.
My case maybe will not be your case of habits.

My routine is less of walking, maybe it doesn't apply so well. It doesn't hurt me to test it.
Lemonade (aka vitamin C) is a a very good deterrent against sub-cutanate fat. You know we have fat inside body but also fat between skin and other organs. That fat is a consumable.
So vitamin C is "attacking" that fat by limiting the amount of insulin generated by our body when is triggered.
I use to NOT eat in the morning, before a walk, until 12-13h.
Then I can eat anything.
Also do not eat anything after 18-19h
