It's like Square read all the SN "field report" threads about trying to pay with BTC at Square terminals haha
Good change.
They're gonna print 60B$ in stock to buy Cursor just like Saylor prints stocks to buy BTC?
you can just print things
Isn't this like the 3rd "biggest ln channel" record broken in 2 weeks?
Is there a flexing competition between LN whales going on? 🤔
Probably can find a more memorable one if I think longer, but off the top of my head a recent case where I intently tip gladly as a matter of principle is at Starbucks (of all places)
Reason: service is always great, they ask how you're doing etc. it's nothing exceptional or mind-blowing, just that the bar is so low around here (cough Tim Hortons cough) that it's a breath of fresh air.
For the US folks: imagine getting your coffee or burger at the DMV for years then eventually going to Chick Fil A for the first time
It took two hours, spawned 150 subagents
Holy. In the words of Thanos: what did it cost?
I keep reading about and using these tools that flaunt agent orchestration and promote running multiple subagents constantly and I've been wondering about the use case since I've never run more than like.... 2-3 in parallel, usually just switching to a second when the first is doing something or answering.
I guess that's one use case for it.
+1 pixel & GrapheneOS
Secure, privacy friendly, and you have as much google as you consent to.
Plus the camera is great. You could even use the Google camera app if you want the software magic, just disable network and all other unnecessary permissions on it. Same for GBoard keyboard if you want swiping and find the default keyboard rough.
Edit: you mention custom ROM a lot and I'm not sure if you meant you want to avoid default OS or you like to play with different roms all the time (I haven't been in the wider custom ROM scene in a while but from what I remember most are insecure, as is rooting, but you probably already know that and it's all good if it's a hobby and you're aware :P)
Did a U.S. exchange roll over and give them centralized accounts or did they hack Iranian wallets?
They probably just called a few stablecoin CEOs and told them to freeze funds
Agreed. Not only is it more attainable (by far) but also more believable. There is almost no one who can claim to be truly unbiased and be believed. So what's the point?
Someone who understands and can state their bias can keep credibility, and even earn some in some cases.
I like to see stuff like this. I've always had a soft spot for cashu despite the custodial nature for reasons mentioned by others (simple UI, fun energy etc.)
Ive also always liked the idea for ephemeral mints (only active during an event or specified time frame) and wonder if the protocol would allow something like that to work in a now unruggable way. I suppose the main issue with this is the mint needs to know where to return leftover sats at the end which might defeat the privacy aspect.
E.g. mint exists for X number of blocks, then all remaining sats return to specified LN address per user
Breaking $1/gallon on gas
I remember when it happened here some gas stations didnt have enough display panels to fit the new digit, so they'd paint or sticker an awkward "1" in front. I thought it was funny, like they had never planned for it to reach that many digits (ever?)
Lmao @ bong cloud attack.
Haven't heard that one in a while.
